Hi, I am an exprerienced motorcycle guide and street photographer.

Welcome to my homepage.

If you are interested in travel off the beaten track, motorcycles or photography I hope that you will find something of interest as you explore the site.

 I work with small groups helping them to get the very best travel and photography experiences possible. If you are a group of 6-10 riders or photographers and want a unique custom experience based on motorcycle tours or photography I can help.  Using my experience and contacts I will put together an itinerary to meet the needs of the group.

Motorcycle tours will always be off the beaten track and I will take you to places, sometimes inaccessible by car, that do not see many tourists. These are often places where you can expect to be the centre of attention especially if you are tall and the trip is in Asia. You may get asked to help with homework, share a drink, or even join a celebration as a guest. You will see real people in their real surroundings and receive genuine hospitality, not the staged villages or paid home visits that make up many itineraries on the tourist trail.

I specialise in street photography and photographic tours will usually include a mix of established tourist sites and out of the way places where you will be able to take unique original pictures and capture the real essence of the community.

The website is new.  Up until COVID 19 interrupted I’ve never had the desire or time to put one together, Please forgive me if it is a bit clunky and unrefined. It will only get worse when we start travelling again.

United States - Help Britone

I have travelled fairly extensively in the US whilst having a “proper” job but very little by motorcycle and I have not done much photography outside of New York. I aim to change this situation once life under the shadow of COVID19 returns to some form of normality. My intention is to take a year out from guiding and travel the 48 contiguous states with my camera by motorcycle. The current, somewhat fluid, plan is to ship my bike to New York and go from there. There are some events that will dictate some specific locations and times. Albaquerqe balloon festival, Reno air races and Sturgis. Other than that it is a case of joining the dots and trying to avoid Nevada in summer and Minnesota in winter…!  If you are a motorcyclist or photographer based in the US and you have some suggestions for shoots, routes and accommodation, or feel you might like to join riding with me for a time, please feel free to get in touch. email: guide@brit.one
